How to get involved / FAQs
I would like to contribute to a chapter. How can I join an existing group?
You can browse existing groups in the chapter titles spreadsheet. To join a group, email Ziska via pairprogramming@ed.ac.uk with the chapter title you would like to contribute to so that we put you in touch with the rest of the group.
I have an idea💡Where can I suggest a new chapter title?
If you already have a topic in mind, email Ziska via pairprogramming@ed.ac.uk with your name (or names if you already have a team) and suggested chapter title. We will then your chapter title to our spreadsheet.
Adding your chapter title will allow other people to see which topics are being covered and to offer their help as co-authors/collaborators.
I am confused. Tell me more 😇
We are writing an open-source book about teaching programming (working title: Teaching Programming across Disciplines). Currently, groups of people are developing chapter titles, which they will submit in the form of a Pitch [due 1 April 2025 12 noon GMT]. The chapter titles and groups are in development, so now is a great time to suggest new titles or join a group!
